Sacred Journeys with Meghan Don www.mysticpeace.com
It was at the top of The Tor in Glastonbury where I was given the vision of that day long ago when Yeshua was walking towards the death of his human body. I could hear the jeering of the crowds, I could feel their bodies pushed against mine, I could smell the sweat and the blood, and I could feel the terror and fear; it was a time of deep chaos and darkness. Yeshua stumbled and fell right by me, and in that moment he looked deep into my eyes, and in an instant I witnessed the fullness of the cosmic cycle that was taking place. On the outer level, there was the absolute human pain and suffering for Yeshua and all his loved ones; on the inner level, humanity, and all other realms, were being given the opportunity to be liberated from their bondage. A pathway of light was being created for all to follow, freeing them from the darkness and allowing them to remember and return to their divine origin. This pathway is the way of resurrection, or coming to know the light body; the body of light which allows us to reach into the full dimensionality of our being. The Gospel of Philip tells us that first we must resurrect and then we die, not the other way around. I often ponder on how our churches would look today if instead of the bloodied Christ on the cross we had the image of the Christ resurrected in his light body, opening the way for us all to join him in this resurrection here and now. And along side him the light body of Magdalene as she reached into the vastness of her consciousness like Yeshua did. The feminine and masculine spirit, side by side, coming into their Christed (or anointed) being.
Returning to The Tor, there was then a wave of great nausea overcoming me, as the whole human scene of Yeshua’s death I had witnessed was very difficult for my being to take in, it seemed somehow to be stuck on the suffering that was inflicted. I knew that I had to leave The Tor and get myself down to the Chalice Well Gardens where I could heal in the waters there. I quickly left and went to the gardens, and immersed myself in a small wading pool – immediately I felt great relief coming over me – and then there appeared Yeshua showing me his wounds but without any blood, without any pain, and he told me that he had let go of the pain and suffering right there on the cross, and that I had no need to carry any of that anymore.
How many of us on many different levels, and sometimes very subtle ones, still carry some kind of hidden belief that we need to suffer, or that we cannot be happy, or that our deepest desire cannot be fulfilled. Perhaps an appropriate Easter reflection would be to allow those unconscious thoughts to arise and to let them resurrect into true life. Yeshua said, ”I have come that you may have abundance of life,” this to me is an essential message that we need to live out in every facet of our life, our spiritual, material, emotional lives, remembering that as brothers and sisters we are all here to help one another in the specific way that we are called to do.
May this Easter, you resurrect a new gift within yourself that has been waiting for you
As David Whyte says, “Creation is waiting breathlessly for you to take your place.”
May we all take our place on this earth, within this cosmic cyle to help uplift humanity and all life.
Blessings and Peace to All Beings, Meghan
